Berta Cifuentes Fernández- Shaw
I am Berta, I am 32 years old, and I have dedicated my entire life to children. I studied child psychology and later specialized in the Montessori method. Today, I work at a Montessori school in Madrid, where I take care of the youngest children.
After school, I take care of two children, and on weekends, I sometimes organize events for kids. Whenever I have free time, I love spending it with my three nephews.
Additionally, I am the community manager of my own space, Berta4Kids!
When I learned that Luis was developing Mindkidness, I challenged him with the idea of integrating young children into the world of meditation. The Mindkidness meditation seemed to me truly simple and perfectly suited for them.
From this idea, a methodology and a storybook were born: “Mindfunness 4 Kids”, designed so that children can explore the magical world of meditation alongside their parents.
The storybook takes children on a journey through hundreds of illustrations across the Galaxy of Fungiland, guided by Aurora, who shows them the path to superpowers achieved by meditating on each of the six phases—which align with the meditation phases practiced by adults.
In short, parents and children access a shared space, allowing them to explore their mental, emotional, and spiritual hygiene together.
To help children internalize their new knowledge, we use games—whether through Laughter Yoga, collecting eggs, petting baby goats or the donkey, or simply visiting the vegetable garden on a tricycle or bike. A true countryside experience.
